Researchers empowered with AI Tools
AutoAI-Pandemics

The most powerful machine learning tools for analysing disease outbreaks are inaccessible to the scientists and doctors who need them most. To close that gap, Our team built an integrated, user-friendly platform that puts advanced ML algorithms directly into the hands of biologists, physicians, and epidemiologists, with no computational expertise required.

The platform delivers three core capabilities: automated epidemiological analysis that models outbreak trajectories and intervention scenarios; bioinformatics analysis tools that enable researchers to interrogate biological data at scale; and AI-powered misinformation detection that identifies and flags false health information circulating across text, image, and video formats. Alongside the core platform, we developed a suite of specialist AI tools, BioAutoML, BioPrediction, MathFeature, and BioDeepFuse, enabling researchers globally to perform complex biological data analyses that were previously out of reach without dedicated computational teams.

We have reached over 260,000 people through website engagement, academic publications, public events, and social media. Educational resources distributed through the MinhaBiblioteca platform have been accessed across 28,441 pages, directly expanding AI literacy among researchers and health professionals across Latin America and beyond.

The system continuously contributes to:

  • Democratised access to epidemic modelling tools for non-expert users
  • Real-time detection and flagging of health misinformation
  • Open-access bioinformatics analysis for researchers globally

AutoAI-Pandemics has been recognised at the 28th UN Climate Conference (COP28 UAE) and selected among the top 100 innovations globally at the Prototypes for Humanity event, from over 3,000 entries.
